How to Give

Create Your Legacy Through a Planned Gift
Charitable gifts help you meet your current philanthropic goals and extend your generosity well into the future. But did you know that a planned gift can also protect your assets, provide for your family, and guarantee you income for life? You can even make a significant impact through a gift that costs nothing in your lifetime (through a charitable bequest under your will).
Four Ways to Make a Planned Gift
Please contact our team for more information on the options below and to discuss what may work best for you.
Planned Gift

Bequest
A bequest is a future gift outlined in your Will. In addition to planning for the well-being and financial security of your loved ones, your Will is a valuable tool for making charitable donations and defining your legacy.

Life Insurance
A gift of life insurance offers the opportunity to leave a legacy to the Foundation for a fraction of the final value of the gift.

Gifts of Registered Retirement Funds
Gifts of Registered Retirement Savings Plans (RRSPs), Registered Retirement Income Funds (RRIFs), and Tax-Free Savings Accounts (TFSAs) – allow you to make a significant gift to Smile Train Canada Foundation while meeting your needs and those of your loved ones.

RRSPs/RRIFs and Taxes
Name Smile Train Canada Foundation as the beneficiary of your RRSP/RRIF (or alternate beneficiary after your spouse).
